Why not start off with what I have on my nails right now?
This is Velvet Tuxedo by Ciate. I found out John Lewis in Liverpool sell some pretty awesome nail varnishes and I've never had a Ciate before, I really wanted to get Iced Frappe and Cookies and Cream but they are so similar to colours I already have so I restrained myself and bought this lovely one instead (maybe 'restrained' wasn't the right word).

Two coats and a top coat with flash, beautiful! I could have used one coat but I made a few mistakes so had to go over again. It's so shiny that it kept reflecting the light with and without flash, so every photo has a bit of a shine going on.
I took a photo of it without a topcoat and it kinda looks like a foil type polish I think...

Here is one from right under my bedside lamp, it looks so rich and shiny :D
So there you go, my first proper post! This lasted about three or four days before chipping (and I'm a clumsy person) and I used two coats of Essie Intense Hydration Base Coat, two coats of Velvet Tuxedo and one coat of Seche Vite. You can buy this colour from John Lewis for £8.
